“Stairway To Heaven”, Favorite Rock Songs of All Time

London - Stairway to Heaven Led Zeppelin's was chosen as the most popular rock songs of all time. In this election, Led Zeppelin beating The Who, Queen and even The Beatles.

Favorite rock song selection was performed Radio Absolute Classic Rock England. In addition to 'Stairway to Heaven', 2 songs Led Zeppelin are also included in the 10 most favorite songs.

In the list of 10 most favorite songs of all time, as quoted by contactmusic, Monday (19/4/2010), The Who just sits on list number 2 with the song ''Won't Get Fooled Again”. Queen at number 3 with the song 'Bohemian Rhapsody. While the Beatles with 'Revolution' can only be satisfied at position 9.

'Stairway to Heaven' was created by Jimmy Page and singer Robert Plant for the band's fourth studio album, Led Zeppelin IV. Recordings 'Stairway to Heaven' began in December 1970 in Basing Street Studios in London.

Absolute Classic Rock listeners, Sandra, said that 'Stairway to Heaven' meets all the criteria to become a favorite rock song. Sandra's own is really a fan of The Who.

"I also love the Beatles, but their songs are too short and be merry, for best songs all time that we want something epic, and Led Zeppelin has it all, great theme through the lyrics, for me it is all owned by the Stairway," said Sandra.
